I devoted my anniversary 100th post to my best photos of people and art, but I thought it’s only fair to have another collective post about my travels around Bulgaria. After more than a decade of living abroad, I moved back to my home country a little more than 3 years ago and many of my blog posts document my quest of rediscovering Bulgaria. Inadvertently many of these photos are associated with some of my best experiences from my life back home, but I also tried to compile a collection showing the objective beauty and diversity of the place. Enjoy!
While not every single one is a masterpiece, you have excellent vision. You frame the photographs extremely well, and I particularly like the effects you place on several. Have you ever done film work?
Thank you for following me. Much appreciated. My husband and I will be traveling to Budapest (been dozens of times beginning in the mid-90s), Bucharest (only once), and then onto Sophia (never yet) later this year. Very much looking forward to it– especially after seeing your lovely photographs.
Looks wonderful I’d love to visit sometime

I love the shot of the “rugged” Black Sea cost. I have some very nice memories from a similar corner, way back in the early ’80s.
